An October Feast

Uncommon Feasts is hosting a pop-up dinner to celebrate Fall in Boston with a feast showcasing the knockout ingredients of the season and of the bounty of our local farmers. Sip gimlets or natural champagne while enjoying passed appetizers. Then take a seat to enjoy a plated three course dinner. Each course is paired with carefully selected wines by Marianne, Uncommon Feasts wine director. Enjoy live jazz by the talented Eduardo Mercuri throughout the evening and as the night winds down, end with a little digestif before heading out into the crisp Autumn night. So relax, grab a drink and a seat at the table. Let's feast!


With Drinks: housemade duck rillettes on toasts with pickled apple, oysters with mignonnette, creamy white bean crostini

First Course: housemade wild mushroom tortellini in garlic brodo

Main Course: slow roasted pork shoulder with salsa verde. Served with caramelized apples and roasted radicchio and greens. Farmer's market salad with baked ricotta.

Dessert: almond plum cake served with housemade buckwheat honey ice cream

Masala chai made with Uncommon Feasts recipe and custom blended by Curio Spice Company

We will spend 4 hours styling and making beautiful imagery from Michelle’s menu. Catrine will discuss how to approach food (even the most difficult!) as well as the importance of props ad how to utilize them to enhance the food. 

You will find your “voice” and learn a few “tricks” of the trade to help you cook and prepare food for your favorite platform : blog, website or social media.

Provençal Summer Dinner

Join us for an intimate Provençal style dinner near the beaches of the North Shore to kick-off the last weekend in July! You'll start off your weekend with a luxurious dinner at the beautiful Cause Creative studio right on Main St in Essex. We'll be enjoying some of the freshest ingredients of summer with wine pairings by our in-house wine expert Marianne. Come enjoy a delicious feast while making some new friends before your weekend on the beach!

To start: tapenade toasts, saucisson, stuffed squash blossom fritters

Main: Le Grand Aioli: This is quintessential summer! A feast celebrating the midsummer bounty.  Beans, new potatoes, artichokes, fennel, carrots, and tomatoes. Served alongside steamed mussels and grilled swordfish and topped with aioli. 

Dessert: handmade honey lavender ice cream, raspberries, and blackberries, calissons d'aix candies

Cocktails: pastis, house-made vin d'orange and wine pairings for each course by Marianne, our in house beverage curator.
